Notes; According to "The Mighty Eighth War Diary"
on this date the 305th BG lost 1 ship. This ship was
a radar equipped PFF (Pathfinder) and was
designated to lead another group on a mission to
Schweinfurt. However the B17 crashed while
transferring bases. 21 were killed including the crew
of 11, 8 servicemen and 2 children killed in a hut
near the runway.
